The core of this small exhibit are several vividly glowing sculptures made from various light-emitting electronic components – various screens, LED’s, light tubes, and whatnots, put together into mutant 1950’s-futuristic-looking modules. The color scheme and effect is something akin to a solid-state Wurlitzer juke-box, although without Patsy Cline. The photographs have something of the same gee-whiz quality. What would it be like to take a one of these light sculptures, go to the beach at night and, you know, let them float around in the waves? Only a few tokes later and you can see the results – Far Out!
